Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy is a personalised, holistic approach to health that explores how food, lifestyle, and daily habits influence how the body functions. Rather than focusing on a single symptom, it considers the body as an interconnected system and aims to support its natural ability to restore balance.

Rooted in naturopathic principles, this approach focuses on identifying and addressing the underlying factors that may be contributing to symptoms. By supporting the body through nutrition, lifestyle guidance, and targeted recommendations where appropriate, the aim is to encourage long-term resilience and wellbeing.

Small, sustainable changes can often have a profound impact on how we feel — from energy levels and digestion to hormonal balance, mood, and overall vitality.

Many people choose naturopathic nutritional therapy when they want to understand their bodies more deeply and take a proactive role in supporting their health.

All consultations take place online via Microsoft Teams, allowing you to access personalised support from the comfort of your own home.

what a nutritional therapy consultation involves

Your consultation begins with a detailed discussion about your health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and what you would like support with.

Before your first session, you will complete a health questionnaire and a 7-day food diary. This allows me to review your current habits and health history in advance so the consultation can be as personalised and supportive as possible.

During the session we explore areas such as:

  • digestion and gut health

  • energy levels and daily rhythms

  • hormonal and menstrual health

  • sleep and stress patterns

  • your relationship with food and nourishment

The aim is to understand how your body is currently responding and what it may need to feel more balanced and supported.

Following the consultation you will receive personalised nutrition and lifestyle recommendations designed to fit realistically within your everyday life.

Nutritional therapy is not about rigid diets or strict rules. Instead, the focus is on gentle, sustainable changes that help your body function at its best.

Understanding Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional therapy is based on the understanding that the body’s systems are deeply interconnected. What we eat, how we sleep, how we manage stress, and how we live day to day all influence our health.

Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, nutritional therapy looks at the possible root causes behind imbalances and works to support the body as a whole.

Food provides the building blocks for every system in the body — from hormones and digestion to brain function and immune health. By supporting the body with the nutrients it needs, we can help encourage balance and resilience over time.

What Nutritional Therapy may support

Nutritional therapy is often used as a complementary approach to support overall wellbeing and long-term health. While it does not replace medical treatment, many people choose nutritional therapy alongside their everyday healthcare.

People often seek nutritional therapy when they would like support with:

  • digestive discomfort and gut health

  • low energy or fatigue

  • hormonal balance and menstrual health

  • skin health

  • stress and nervous system support

  • sleep difficulties

  • blood sugar balance

  • fertility and pre-conception health

  • immune resilience

  • general wellbeing and preventative health

what clients often notice

Everyone’s experience with nutritional therapy is different, but many people begin to notice changes such as:

• more stable energy throughout the day
• improved digestion
• better sleep
• feeling clearer mentally
• reduced cravings
• a greater understanding of how food affects their body

These changes often happen gradually as the body begins to receive the support it needs.

I offer nutritional therapy as standalone consultations or as packages for those who would like ongoing support as their body responds and recommendations develop over time.

A typical sequence of care is as follows:

01
discovery call

A short introductory call where we discuss your goals, current challenges, and whether nutritional therapy may be the right next step for you.

02
initial consultation

A comprehensive session to explore your health history, current symptoms, and lifestyle in more detail. You will receive personalised nutrition and lifestyle recommendations to begin supporting your health.

03
follow-up support

Follow-up consultations, typically spaced 4–6 weeks apart, allow us to review progress, refine recommendations, and continue supporting your body as it responds.
