FAQs
What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy uses personalised food, lifestyle and (where appropriate) supplement guidance to support balance and everyday wellbeing. It works alongside conventional medicine and is not a replacement for medical care.
What happens in an initial consultation?
Before your consultation, you’ll complete a health questionnaire and a short food diary. During the session, we’ll talk through your health history, current concerns, and lifestyle. From this, I create a tailored nutrition and lifestyle plan designed to fit into your everyday routine.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies depending on your goals. Many clients start with an initial consultation plus two follow-ups, while others choose longer programmes with ongoing support. We can discuss the best option during your free discovery call.
Do I need to take supplements?
Supplements are never mandatory. I may suggest them if they could provide useful support, but I will always explain why, and you are free to decide whether to include them.
Do you offer testing?
Yes, I have access to functional tests such as gut health analysis, hormone testing, and blood panels. These are optional add-ons and only recommended if they feel appropriate for your situation.
What are the benefits of testing?
Testing can sometimes provide deeper insight into what may be contributing to your symptoms. For example, gut health tests, hormone panels, or blood markers can highlight imbalances that may not be clear from symptoms alone.
The benefit of testing is that it allows us to create a more targeted plan, focusing on your unique needs rather than a “one-size-fits-all” approach. That said, testing is always optional — many clients find they can make meaningful progress without it. We can discuss whether testing feels appropriate during your consultation.
How are sessions held?
All Nutritional Therapy consultations are held online, making it easy to access support from anywhere in the UK. Reflexology treatments are available in person at The Sunflower Centre, Brockley.
Can Nutritional Therapy help with medical conditions?
Nutritional Therapy does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. My role is to complement your existing medical care with evidence-informed nutrition and lifestyle guidance. I may recommend you see your GP or specialist if needed.
How much does it cost?
Nutritional Therapy packages start from £275, which includes one detailed health consultation and two follow-up sessions. Testing and supplements are available as optional add-ons.
Do you work with men as well as women?
Yes, I work with adults of all ages and backgrounds. While I often support women’s health concerns such as hormones and menopause, my approach is tailored to the individual.
