post-session care

Thank you for taking the time to look after yourself today. I hope you left your session feeling calmer and more balanced.

Aftercare

— Drink plenty of water or herbal teas over the next 24 to 48 hours. Reflexology stimulates the lymphatic system, so good hydration helps your body flush and rebalance.

— Rest when you can. Even a short period of quiet time, a gentle walk in nature or some meditation will support the deep relaxation your nervous system has just experienced.

—Try to avoid anything too overstimulating for the remainder of the day, such as social media scrolling, stressful television or excessive screen time, to allow the benefits of your treatment to continue.

What You May Notice

Over the next 24 to 48 hours you may feel more relaxed, sleepy or even a little emotional as your body continues to rebalance. Some people also experience a temporary healing response such as a mild headache, fatigue or vivid dreams. This is completely normal and usually passes quickly. If anything feels concerning, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

For the Best Results

To get the most from reflexology, I generally recommend a course of weekly or fortnightly sessions over 4 to 6 treatments. After that, monthly maintenance sessions help to sustain the benefits and keep your system in balance.

A Small Request

As my local practice is still fairly new, I would be very grateful if you could spare a moment to leave a short Google review. Your feedback helps other people find calm, restorative reflexology in the local area.
